1. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MinDent ("MinDent", the "App", "we", "us", or "our").
MinDent is provided by Laszlo Fazekas, operating under the app publisher name "MinDent Apps". By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to the MinDent mobile application, the MinDent website, and any related services, features, subscriptions, or content provided by us.
2. What MinDent Does
MinDent is a dental-care habit companion designed to help users organize daily cleaning routines, reminders, streaks, achievements, dentist appointments, toothbrush replacement tracking, and optional Pro features.
MinDent is intended for personal organization and habit tracking only. The App does not provide medical, dental, clinical, or professional advice.
3. No Medical or Dental Advice
MinDent is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional dental care, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified dentist, dental hygienist, doctor, or other healthcare professional.
You should not rely on the App to diagnose, prevent, treat, or manage any medical or dental condition. If you have dental pain, bleeding, swelling, infection, injury, or any other health concern, contact a qualified professional.
Reminders, streaks, achievements, appointment tracking, toothbrush replacement tracking, and other App features are provided for convenience only and may not be complete, accurate, or suitable for your individual situation.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally able to use the App under the laws of your country or region. If you are under the age required to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
The App is not intentionally directed to children under 13.
5. Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account or sign in using a supported authentication method. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when necessary. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we believe your account is being misused, used unlawfully, or used in violation of these Terms.
6. User-Entered Information
You are responsible for the information you enter into the App, including cleaning routine settings, progress data, appointment details, dentist names, locations, notes, toothbrush tracking information, and any other content you choose to save.
You should not enter unnecessary sensitive information into the App. Appointment notes and other fields are intended for personal organization, not for storing full medical records.
You represent that you have the right to enter and use any information you provide in the App and that your use of the App will not violate the rights of any other person.
7. Follow and Shared Progress Features
MinDent may allow users to follow other users or view limited shared progress information. Shared progress may include information such as a display name or alias, streak count, weekly progress, or similar habit-related information.
You are responsible for choosing whom you connect with and what information you make available through sharing or follow features. Do not use these features to harass, pressure, monitor, shame, or harm other users.
8. Notifications and Reminders
The App may provide cleaning reminders, streak reminders, appointment reminders, toothbrush replacement reminders, app updates, or other app-related notifications.
Notifications are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered, delivered on time, or suitable for your circumstances. You remain responsible for your own dental care, appointments, and decisions.
9. MinDent Pro
MinDent may offer optional paid features through MinDent Pro. Pro features may include, depending on the version of the App and your platform, removing ads, managing multiple appointments, exporting appointment history to PDF, following shared progress, unlocking additional achievements, or other premium functionality.
Pro features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce paid functionality during an active subscription period, but we may modify features when necessary for technical, legal, platform, security, or product reasons.
10. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
MinDent Pro may be offered as an auto-renewable subscription or another in-app purchase. Prices, durations, free trials, introductory offers, and available plans may vary by country, platform, and time.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period, subject to the rules of Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchased the subscription.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process payment cards directly and do not receive your full payment card details.
You are responsible for managing and cancelling your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Refund requests are handled according to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play. We may not be able to issue refunds directly for purchases processed by Apple or Google.
11. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, promo codes, lifetime access, or other promotional offers. Availability and eligibility may vary by platform, region, user, or time.
Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a free trial may convert into a paid subscription according to the terms shown at the time of purchase by Apple App Store or Google Play.
We may modify, limit, or discontinue promotional offers at any time, subject to applicable laws and platform rules.
12. Ads
The free version of MinDent may display advertisements. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, or claims made in third-party advertisements. If you purchase or interact with products or services shown in ads, your relationship is with the advertiser or relevant third party.
MinDent Pro may include an option to remove ads from the App, although some messages related to your account, subscriptions, app updates, or important notices may still appear.
13. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code from, or create derivative works based on the App, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful purposes;
- misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the App;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
- use the App to harass, shame, threaten, or harm others;
- upload or enter content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or violates another person’s rights;
- attempt to bypass payment, subscription, security, or access controls;
- use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the App or related services;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
15. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscription management, app distribution, and payment processing.
These services may include Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, and other platform or infrastructure providers. Your use of the App may also be subject to the terms and policies of these third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, SDKs, platforms, or content that we do not control.
16. App Store and Google Play Terms
If you download MinDent from Apple App Store, your use of the App may also be subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate agreement applies.
If you download MinDent from Google Play, your use of the App may also be subject to Google Play’s applicable terms and policies.
These Terms are intended to apply alongside the applicable app store terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory app store terms, the app store terms may apply to the extent required.
17. Privacy
Your use of MinDent is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information.

18. Updates and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal, platform, or functionality reasons.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, operating system, or platform version.
19. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the App, created risk for other users, attempted to bypass payment or security controls, or used the App unlawfully.
You may stop using the App at any time. You may also request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination of your account or access to the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them.
20. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that using the App will improve your dental health, prevent dental problems, ensure appointment attendance, or produce any specific result.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to the App or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for MinDent Pro during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
22. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your country or region.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, you may have additional rights under local law.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the App or on the website.
Your continued use of MinDent after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, except where mandatory laws of your country or region require otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your place of residence.
